I have improved all of my print products by making sure that they have been made darker to suit the genre more than it did before, i have also changed the colour of all of the text to white, black and burgundy which is the same colour as the lipstick that Sophie is wearing throughout the images on the front covers. To make all of the print products link I have included a faded image behind the main image which shows the audience that these products have a surprise element to them where the audience will not be able to see straight away.

New Voice Over
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter because I don’t know how much
longer I have left…
It was mine and Rose’s 1 year anniversary the other day and it’s
got to the point where I think I am actually in love with her, I have been
speaking to Rose about our future together and she brought up the subject of my…other
self. It made me think about how we will get along in the long term if I’m not
able to control my mental illness without medication.
Have you ever…wanted to change something that you couldn’t control?
This will last around 30 seconds over the trailer.
Changes to Narrative and Title
Due to recent feedback on our trailer and print products after much thought we have decided to change our narrative slightly, as most of our negative feedback was that the narrative was not clear, and with the narrative we have, we believe it is going to be too difficult to make clear.
After talking together and discussing ways to improve our trailer we have decided to first of all change our name to 'Plan B' instead of 'Plan C' and therefore give our character two personalities instead of one so she has more of a split personality than MPD.
I have already decided this as our new logo and i believe this will be effective towards the narrative. We are not scrapping the trailer that we have currently but we are giving it a new beginning to ease the audience into our product and we are having a voice over on top which is going to be in the form of a diary entry explaining the narrative more clearly.

Editing Images For Posters
This is the image that I began with where I had already put an effect on the background to make it look cracked and I also put the focus of the image on the face and blurred on the bottom of the dress by using an online program called Pixlr. This is where I then began to change the brightness and contrast of the image to make sure that the whole image looked dark on the page to make sure that the audience knew this character in the trailer was evil and dangerous for anyone else in the trailer.
I then changed the amount of vibrancy on the image to make it just look facially brighter and to fade out the background a little bit more faded to make the face and foreground stand out more than the background.
With the image I put a slight affect on it to make sure that it again looked dark.
Trailer Posters
These are the posters that I have made for my trailer to advertise to the audience what the film is about and the main character that is in it, I followed the layouts that I made to make sure that made everything look professional on the page along with following the correct house style to make sure that it links in with the other products that I have made.

Editing Trailer More...

New Intertitles
These are the new intertitles that I have created due to not thinking that the other ones were suitable enough for the productions, spellings have been changed as well due to the word productions originally being spelt wrong in the developments of the drafts of the trailer along with then having an informal 'Plan C' main title shown at the end of the trailer.
February Feedback
This is my February Feedback on my blog, I have commented on it along with my teacher telling me what I have done well and what I can improve on in the future. Another thing that I forgot to add onto the feedback form is that I have made all of my actors sign the risk assessment agreement where I have been able to manage all of the people that are in my trailer through phone calls and texts.

Trailer Draft 2 with Voice Over
This is the second draft of my trailer where I have added a voice over on top of the music, however I do not like the way that it sounds so in my final trailer it shall not have the voice over. When making the voice over with Joseph who is the male voice in the clip we all watched the trailer and recorded it over when we thought how it should have gone if we were really sat in an interrogation room being interviewed for a murder.

Poster Conventions and Layouts
Conventions of a movie poster;
- Eye catching to make the audience see an interest in watching the film
- masthead
- house style following the same used in other print products and trailer (the use of similar fonts and colours)
- additional information such as directors and producers name, normally shown at the bottom of the page
- subheadings
- main image
- age certification
- awards from competitions the film has been entered for
- quotes from magazine companies
These are the 4 layouts that I have made for my poster, I think that these layouts will help the audience notices my products from other ones as they are able to see the main image shown on all of the posters.

My Mock Magazine Front Cover
This are the two mock front covers that I have made which show the layouts that I made and I have followed to create two simple but effective magazine front covers. These will be developed in the future to make them stand out more to the audience I am aiming for and to make them look slightly more professional.
First Edit of Trailer
This is my first edit of my trailer, we had a small problem with the voice over which shall be reshot to put on the next draft of our trailer along with slightly more footage to make the trailer longer and show the narrative more, but overall I am very happy with how the trailer has turned out and I think that it shows the narrative well to the audience.

Ancillary Text - Shutter Island
When analysing more existing media products I chose to look
at the film ‘Shutter Island’ which is in the genre of psychological thriller
which is what I am studying and creating. The film ‘Shutter Island’ was very
widely watched by the target audience of teenagers and young adults and lots of
advertisements were made to make sure that the production company made as much
money possible as they could from the production. The way that they were able
to get as much audience attention than they did was through the use of making
billboard posters, being on the front of existing magazines such as Empire and
Total Film along with then making sure that the DVD cover stood out from others
on the market.

Due to all of the print products of the film having similar colours and fonts I need to plan what all of my print products will have in common due to making sure that the audience is aware of the link in my products, making sure that the film links with what the audience would want to see. Along with this I need to make sure that all of the products that I will make need to show continuity between the products and the film I have considered this through looking at different colour schemes such as shades of pink due to it being one of the colour schemes I used in my AS coursework along with more unisex colours like red and blue as my film will need to appeal to both different genders as this is my target audience. I looked at existing products already in the media and realised that they use a lot of red to maybe show danger and importance along with bold colours such as black and then shades of grey and white, I think that this will be the colour scheme that I choose to use due to the genre of my trailer and all of my print products being a psychological thriller where I shall aim to show the genre of my products through the use of bold colours and fonts.
Right at this moment in time I am not sure on what exact
fonts I will be planning to use as when it comes to making my print products I
know that I shall be using a range of fonts to show that some things on the
page are more important than others for example all of the cover lines on my
magazine front cover will be in a more informal font that has similarities to
the other fonts to make sure that they do not look ‘odd’ or ‘strange’ together
on the page and to make the audience want to read it due to it looking
professional. This shall be similar when it comes to making my billboard,
posters and DVD front cover as I need to make sure that all of the products have
some sort of continuity and link which shall be shown in the fonts that I will
be using. A good example of products that all have the similar continuity would
be, ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ make sure that they show similarities by the use
of dark images of the main characters along with the colour scheme of red and
white and then making sure that the title/masthead is always the biggest thing
on the page and a different colour from the rest of the information. The same
font has been used on the title as it has on the smaller text, as everything on
the page is written in lower case letters rather than capitals which could
suggest to the audience that things constantly continue and have the same
importance during the film.
Along with this the images that I shall be using will show
the main character who is played by Sophie who will be shadowed by her other
personalities and character types to make sure that the audience understands
the darkness of the separate characters and how they all live inside one body.
The images that I am using will be different on every print product however
include a different affect due to the lighting in the photographs even though
the lighting shall be darkened to make the image stand out on the page along
with showing the genre of psychological thriller and shows the under darkness
of the character and there story (the narrative of the film trailer) which
shall be shown in all print products.

Intertitles
I made inter-titles that will be shown in my trailer in between the clips of the characters to help show the audience more about the trailer and the narrative of the story, many existing trailers use inter titles as part of a story to the audience and get them more involved with the trailer and make them want to find out what will happen next. An example of a film trailer that uses inter-titles; Shutter Island, this film is in the genre of psychological thrillers and includes inter-titles to be able to get the story across to the audience so that they want to watch the film.
These are the inter-titles that I created to be shown in my trailer. The dark background will help the audience realise that my film is a psychological and dark thriller with the white writing that stands out from the dark background showing straight away and not hard to see from afar.

Testing Fonts For Magazine Front Cover
''Due to the back image being slightly faded I think that it looks very plain on the page and I don't think it looks right on the page however all of the font letters are evenly spaced apart and can be seen by the audience and customer for the product''.

Creating Intertitles
I wanted to start looking at fonts that I would be able to use for my inter-titles that appear during the film, I started looking at more basic fonts which can be shown in the middle of the page and then later on trailed more advanced fonts which gave the inter-title more of a uniqueness as it is not shown in any other films.
